In my time with God this morning, I was confronted with several difficult people, sorta making my day kinda from happy to crappy while I was enjoying my moments of peace and all the good things I have, here came the rain on my parade, those people that take your day from happy to crappy just because there life is miserable they seem to do the devils work and spread contention not goodness and just seem to take pleasure in making others suffer. In the meantime I was thinking of the financial successes I need to happen as money is getting very tight now rather than me enjoying that coming through, because the other strife that others were bringing into my life…(do you know this feeling?)  I was starting to doubt, thinking what else is going to go wrong and on and on  down that wrong road to pedition,as they say. WAIT there is GOoD news.! God started reminding me that I was in fact to be rewarded, rewarded, YES rewarded! The holy spirit reminded me of this through a daily devotional then I looked up the bible verse to get a deeper meaning and sense of reality. The verse is…

OUR LIFE’S JOURNEY WITH GOD… (part 1)

THE MISSION:

⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing”.

  This is one of our first directives, we must first have a personal relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ and not a dead religion. This is NOT to say that a functioning church body is not important, it is!  However we must have connection with God in a personal relationship or how will we know what to do or how? If your not sure on how to have a personal relationship God , I will provide a link (soon) or write me. With out this, God will still look out for us, cause he really does love us and wants us all to know him. But we will miss out on    “The better life” he has for us, like a fish out of water just flopping around or a ship with out a rudder being blow around in any direction the wind blows or worse having some success thinking we don’t need God at all!!! Seems to me as I know God more through his word, the bible, that if we have listened to the world we have been sold the allusion that we can do what ever we work hard enough to obtain.   In reality if God didn’t make us we COULD DO NOTHING!!!!!! with out God we wouldn’t exists much less have any success. With that being clear, another reason that we really want Gods best for our life, his plan is MUCH better than what we could ever dream of. And what father doesn’t long to have a great relationship with his children???

John 3:3
Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God. Here is the verse in context. A conversation with Nicodemus a religious leader of the day.

1. John 3

   ¹NOW THERE was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (a leader, an authority) among the Jews,    ²Who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know and are certain that You have come from God [as] a Teacher; for no one can do these signs (these wonderworks, these miracles–and produce the proofs) that You do unless God is with him.

   ³Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

   ⁴Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb again and be born?

   ⁵Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, unless a man is born of water and [^[a]even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.

   ⁶What is born of [from] the flesh is flesh [of the physical is physical]; and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

   ⁷Marvel not [do not be surprised, astonished] at My telling you, You must all be born anew (from above).

   ⁸The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

   ⁹Nicodemus answered by asking, How can all this be possible?

   ¹⁰Jesus replied, Are you the teacher of Israel, and yet do not know nor understand these things? [Are they strange to you?]

   ¹¹I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, We speak only of what we know [we know absolutely what we are talking about]; we have actually seen what we are testifying to [we were eyewitnesses of it]. And still you do not receive our testimony [you reject and refuse our evidence--that of Myself and of all those who are born of the Spirit].

   ¹²If I have told you of things that happen right here on the earth and yet none of you believes Me, how can you believe (trust Me, adhere to Me, rely on Me) if I tell you of heavenly things?

   ¹³And yet no one has ever gone up to heaven, but there is One Who has come down from heaven–the Son of Man [Himself], ^[b]Who is (dwells, has His home) in heaven.

   ¹⁴And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross],

   ¹⁵In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may ^[c]not perish, but have eternal life and [actually] live forever!

   ¹⁶For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (^[d]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

   ¹⁷For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

   ¹⁸He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.]

   ¹⁹The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil.

   ²⁰For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved.

   ²¹But he who practices truth [who does what is right] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are–wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God's help, in dependence upon Him].

   ²²After this, Jesus and His disciples went into the land (the countryside) of Judea, where He remained with them, and baptized.

   ²³But John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, for there was an abundance of water there, and the people kept coming and being baptized.

   ²⁴For John had not yet been thrown into prison.

   ²⁵Therefore there arose a controversy between some of John’s disciples and a Jew in regard to purification.

   ²⁶So they came to John and reported to him, Rabbi, the Man Who was with you on the other side of the Jordan [^[e]at the Jordan crossing]–and to Whom you yourself have borne testimony–notice, here He is baptizing too, and everybody is flocking to Him!

   ²⁷John answered, A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can ^[f]take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.]

   ²⁸You yourselves are my witnesses [you personally bear me out] that I stated, I am not the Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), but I have [only] been sent before Him [in advance of Him, to be His appointed forerunner, His messenger, His announcer].

   ²⁹He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the groomsman who stands by and listens to him rejoices greatly and heartily on account of the bridegroom’s voice. This then is my pleasure and joy, and it is now complete. [S. of Sol. 5:1.]

   ³⁰He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so.]

   ³¹He Who comes from above (heaven) is [far] above all [others]; he who comes from the earth belongs to the earth, and talks the language of earth [his words are from an earthly standpoint]. He Who comes from heaven is [far] above all others [far superior to all others in prominence and in excellence].

   ³²It is to what He has [actually] seen and heard that He bears testimony, and yet no one accepts His testimony [no one receives His evidence as true].

   ³³Whoever receives His testimony has set his seal of approval to this: God is true. [That man has definitely certified, acknowledged, declared once and for all, and is himself assured that it is divine truth that God cannot lie].

   ³⁴For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaims God's own message], God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is the gift God makes of His Spirit!

   ³⁵The Father loves the Son and has given (entrusted, committed) everything into His hand.

   ³⁶And he who believes in (has faith in, clings to, relies on) the Son has (now possesses) eternal life. But whoever disobeys (is unbelieving toward, refuses to trust in, disregards, is not subject to) the Son will never see (experience) life, but [instead] the wrath of God abides on him. [God’s displeasure remains on him; His indignation hangs over him continually.

Lets pray that every one comes to this place, if your here now reading this God is drawing close to you and invite his spirit to live in your heart and believe he is God. Also pray for the believers  to continue our journey and give us faith…I pray for everyone to have this better life Godsway

SUMMARY:

In our life’s  journey with God we must first have a personal relationship with God and NOT religion. The bible says we must be born again. This is the first part in our Journey with God most of us that have this personal relationship, usually can even tell you our born on date (haha)

    I recently experienced a difficult situation with someone that was really harassing me and just being overall difficult.I tried to as the bible says “speak thetruth in love” however it wasn’t long after I realized after my reasoning  was getting no where and the situation was getting abusive and even threatening. The next day after two days or so of the abuse. I started to seek God for answers. Also the subject of bulling has come up more than once recently as well. I read some in the bible about loving your neighbor and all but it seemed as though this wasn’t working in this situation. So later that day after my morning devotional I read this Post from one of my Face book friends which really gave me some answers on how to deal with this. TELL THE TRUTH, BUT DO IT IN LOVE!

There seems to be one thing that is dominant in almost every life the I come into contact with. Hurtful people, in particular, hurtful, destructive family members. I want you to be set free from hurtful and destructive relationships. Many of you are struggling with this because they are members of your own family. A mother, a father, a sister, brothers, even your own children. Beloved, it is time to be set free!

Not every person has the right to speak into your life, no, not even if they are related. Ephesians 4:29 tells us, “Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word, not unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth; but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it.”

If God demands for your speech to be good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, then He certainly does not expect for you to listen to speech that is not. You see, this applies to the unbeliever as well. Just because they are unbelievers, or worse, a believer in disobedience to this truth, does not nullify this truth in His Word.

Here is what you need to know. You have got to become developed in people. You have got to allow yourself to come to a place where you are not so shaken and destroyed by words that go contrary to this truth, no matter who’s mouth they are coming out of. Neither are you expected to just stand there and take it. These verbal attacks are completely and wholly orchestrated by the devil and they are completely and wholly meant to throw you, to get you into strife, to get your focus off of the Word, and get you completely off track.

While you are letting Satan destroy you through someone else’s mouth, you are getting further and further away from walking out your master plan. When people are so cruel with their words, and especially when it is a family member and especially when it is a mother or father, it can just send you reeling. We all want for our families to love us and we all want the approval of our moms and dads, no matter how old we get, that never changes. It does not give them the right to shred you with their words. No person ever has the right to tear you up with their mouths. No person ever has the right to be so unkind and so cruel as to tell you what you will never be, or judge you on where you came from. God does not care who you were or where you came from, He is only interested in who you can be and where He can take you.

Satan knows this, he knows this very well. He knows the power of God’s word to perform and create in your life. He knows what you will become if you learn to use that word effectively. Why do you think he chooses people so close to you to be weapons against you? The scripture tells us in Isaiah 54:17, “But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you, you shall show to be in the wrong.” Most of us know this scripture, but do you really know this scripture. Do you see what it says, “No Weapon will prosper.” That means, you have authority over anything that they are trying to bring against you, anyway that they are trying to bring it. “Every tongue you shall sow to be in the wrong.” How are you going to show that tongue that it is wrong?

Colossians 4:6 tells us, “Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer any one [who puts a question to you].” You must always be working to keep your speech free, you must always be obedient to Ephesians 4:31, “Let all bitterness, and wrath and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.” (King James) See, Satan needs for you to not be able to do this, he needs for you to step out of the commandment of love to ruin you. That is why he uses these people against you with their words. This is something that you have to do, this is your responsibility. We season our speech by renewing our minds to the word as we are told in Romans 12:2. You have to know what the word says, so that you may never be at a loss to know how you ought to answer any on who puts a question to you. Sometimes those questions come in the form of ridicule and judgement, but you still must know how to answer them.

You are not a verbal punching bag and not one person has the right to use you as such. If you do not learn to take control of them, they will take control of you. Learn to tell the truth in love. It is okay, it is more then okay to tell them they are not welcome in your presence if they cannot order their conversation aright in your presence. You simply say, “I love you but……” Satan counts on you being to hurt and confused as they launch their verbal attacks against you, to know how to answer them as you ought. It is his mission to get you over into the evil speaking, into the bitterness and the wrath. Then, you are out of love, then you are wide open for him and every demon in hell to take you out.

John 15:13 tells us, “No one has greater love-no one has shown stronger affection-than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.” Remember, we talked about the meaning of this scripture. Sometimes, all you can do is pray for them. This scripture means to lay down time in your life, set your things aside and pray for the needs of someone else. After all, they need Jesus in their lives more than they need anything. This scripture tells you that it is the greatest love and shows the strongest affection. So stop thinking that you are not being a good christian if you block someone from your life. They will just have to get glad in the same clothes they got mad in. You need to learn to tell people, in love what is accepted in your presence and what is not accepted in your presence.

They can either get with the program, or get out. The more you allow this hurtful talk to be in your presence, the more your faith is picked apart, the longer your emotions are going to stay in a unproductive place, The lower and lower you are going to sink, until there is no fight left in you. GET THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE! Remove the negatives if they do not want to be a positive. Proverbs 22:10 tells us, “Drive out the scoffer and contention will go out; yes, strife and abuse will cease.” James 3:16 says, “Where there is strife, there will be confusion and every evil work. Satan is all up in that strife, causing confusion and evil work. As long as he is allowed to stay, the evil work and the confusion will stay. Your hurt feelings will stay, your focus will be dimmed, your faith will be weak, your ability to stand will continue to decrease. The door for depression and oppression gets kicked wide open and the flood gates of calamity and destruction are now opened to drown you. This scripture in Proverbs says, “The scoffer!” It does not say, “unless they are related to you.” It says, “Drive out the scoffer”. That is how contention will go out, that is how strife and abuse will cease.

Psalm 112:8 says, speaking of the righteous, “His heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire upon his adversaries.” Don’t be afraid to cast out the scoffer, let your heart be established and steady in this scriptural truth. It is okay, show them the duct tape, or show them door, which ever works best for you, but we do it in love, we do not do it with mean, hurtful, angry words, or we are now no better then they, and have only assisted Satan instead of resisting him. The desire that we want to see on our adversaries is that they would come to know Jesus and the mess of their lives, which causes them to be so hateful, is made brand new and they now have the same chance at the covenant promises of God to change their lives and their situations. This is also how you patch the hole in the pool, the gene pool that is. This is how families are restored and this is how families are regenerated.

The word has the power to restore and make brand new, all things, but nothing happens with out prayer. Someone has got to be willing to pray. Someone has got to be willing to license heaven to get involved. So, according to John 15:13, you will be acting in the greatest love there is to pray for them, and you can be confident that you no longer have to be destroyed by them or their mouths, it is okay to drive out the scoffer, it is okay to do what you need to do to stop the contention and the strife. You may just be surprised. A bully only picks on a person because they can. Learn to control your life, or someone will control it for you.

The best life we can have is the plan that God has for our lives.
When we go through difficulties it can feel as though we have been forgotten.God always has bigger plans so at those times rather than letting those negative emotions run our thoughts lets be thankful that God has not forgotten us and knows we can handle these things as we grow in our faith trusting him. There is always happy endings when we end up next to him. Only by knowing God can we have a better life and happy ending and grow in our trust…Jesus said that in this world we would have trouble but to be of good cheer for he has overcome this world.

Hmmm it seems to me a womans version of cleaning is to throw everything out..and usually it’s my stuff she is throwing out!

I’ve had a pretty interesting life, some good and some is not so good. Before I became a Christian it seems like I was always in a relationship. When I met my first love, I was very young and thought it would be forever. Until things beyond my control happened to eventually end the relationship. I started to play in a rock and roll band and met some women; I lived with a few for a long times hoping that this would be THE ONE. Eventually, when we got closed enough to think about ultimate commitment “marriage” I always remember thinking that this is not the one and some how and somewhere out there, is another. The one that is just right for me. After of life twist and turns I’ve finally found God and became a Christian and turned my life over to God and His direction.

I was single for a long, long, long, long time. Hopefully, by the way that I just said that you would have some understanding of my frustrations that I went through especially not being used to be a single for such a long time. It’s started to seem like forever. Life started to seem like unnatural and being celibate, caused this is what Christians are supposed to be, until married. I was hoping it was a misprint and supposed to be a “celebrate”. (It’s a joke ha). It took a long time to work on my heart in this area and to help me understand the love and commitment and intimacy and most of all one thing … He was trying to show me (tell you later in the story).

I lived a long time very frustrated yes sexually to where I even start to think God has forgotten about me and did not really love me. As the frustrations started to kick in so is my search for true love. I was very good at looking for love, hunting for it well you got the idea. So I started on my quest to find “The One” thinking it was up to me. I also started to learn much about how to have a good God’s center relationship. In the meantime, in my impatient I had a few short dreadful marriages. I thought how terrible could it be if I made a mistake …. Let’s me tell YOU … men and women, the devil, yes you heard me right, can use your own love as a weapon against you and to mess up your life big time so please, please, please wait for God’s choice in a mate.

In the meantime, as I was dealing with being single and frustrated I was also grown as a Christian and started to find my life calling. I believe God was calling me to lead a home bible study and from where I came from it seemed to be way far-out thing to do. However, after all I’ve seen God does, it’s kind of came natural by that time. And the way I learned to deal with people in a certain God’s way and watched as God helped others in their lives, it felt such a blessing to me to see God transformed other lives at the same time. My bad relationships kept breaking me from doing home Bible study things and I had wasted a lot of my life inside and out. So now you understand why I said please wait on God. I also learned about domestic violence, even to men. Anyway after my bad marriage I remembered to tell myself I would do what it takes to work it out and not end up getting divorce. … Let’s me tell you IF GOD ISN’T IN IT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO WON’T WORK.

So after surviving the abuse in every way and still have my wits about me mostly hahaha I started once again the frustrations of being single … After all it’s not natural to be alone and there were sexual frustrations, especially you have tasted the forbidden fruit, and your hormone was raging. So I started praying and telling God again about my frustrations. Other than this area, my life with God was very good, and I got no complaints at all and Gods was truly awesome. I could remember getting letters from my Christian friends saying … When you make God the love of your life, He will give you the love of your life. The letters were much longer, but these were two lines that just kept speaking to me and ringing in my head. It seems to me, I kept getting those letters to me over and over again. So I kept thinking “Sure we are cool me and God and He was the love of my life.” So I went off once again the pursuing of love.

This time I tried online dating thinking I would meet someone I would not usually meet. I met so many, and I had to weed out all the bad ones of course. After awhile I found myself spending so much time investing my life in each one once more hoping, this would be the one I was looking for all my life. Only to find once again more frustrations.

Then finally one day I had enough. So I told God that I was completely frustrated and I told Him I completely gave it to Him. Whatever He will for my life, I will accept it. Actually, it sounded more like this. I gave it to you God, and I am totally frustrated but if you want me to be single then it will be just you and me buddy. And you have to deal with me, all my crankiness and all of my moodiness in everything it’s just me and You as it seems You did not help me out at all. Yeah, I remembered I just made up my mind .. here I just gave it to God … I am done. Which now that I am thinking about it…it is exactly what He was waiting to hear all this time. Hence ding, ding, ding …I finally made God the love of my life.

And then not very long after that I met someone whom I could only explain in a God’s kind of way. For the most part, we are together ever since me and my honey. The funny part is I would not naturally think we were a perfect match, but I find that true love is truly above all things. And even though our relationship is not perfect, and we still have misunderstandings but almost every way we are completely suited to each other and connected in God like kind of way. In a way that only God can explain.

So as we get ready for our Valentine day, our love, our fights and everything in between, I just thought I shared our stories with you in this special time of the year. So if you know you’ve met that special one then enjoy every minute, and if you’re still looking I can’t say it’s a magic solution but that how it works for me. Hopefully, put your trusts in God to bring you the love of your life.
